I had a fabulous day in Chennai with Dr. Nancy, Daryl, Jared, and Nacey's sisters-- Alice and Carol! We had the fantastic opportunity of taking an Indian cooking class through
Story Trails (HIGHLY recommend it!), and then we finished the day with a visit to
Chokhi Dhani-- a village of Indian entertainment and food! So please enjoy these images as a way for me to portray my day :)

Meet Lakshmi :) She instructed the cooking class, and she is one of the most delightful women I've ever met! We bonded very well! Many times after explaining a certain food to us, she would say, "Shall we tray our hand at it?" Yes-- definitely yes! So I tried my hand at everything I could today :) |

Fabulous Indian dinner with the crew :) (So... I hope when the servers go home tonight that they tell everyone what a silly, confused white girl they served! I seriously was having the most confused time with what to do with my food!! We all laughed about it, haha...) |
We saw many amazing things that aren't pictured here, like a tight-rope walker, a man on stilts, more dancers, exciting gift shops, cows, horses, and more! It was a great place, and a great way to spend the end of the day :)
Thank you, Lakshmi, for inviting me to try my hand at "it" today! I think I experienced a lot!
